The People and Processes Behind Grainman Equipment
When a customer chooses Grainman equipment, they are choosing the experience of the team behind it. Our manufacturing story begins with the requirements of grain and seed testing and continues through components, assembly, inspection, and support. We are proud to do that work in the United States and to put our name on the equipment that leaves our facility.
Understand the purpose
Equipment starts with a job to do. We review the product requirements and the details that guide the build, from the intended application to the correct configuration. For customer manufacturing projects, the conversation starts with your drawing or part description, quantity, material, and timing.
Make the components
Our manufacturing team uses machining and fabrication to turn material into the components a build requires. CNC milling and turning, fabrication, and welding support our own equipment and the customer projects we accept.
Assemble with product knowledge
A machine is more than its individual parts. Our team brings components together, checks the fit of the assembly, and works through the details that make the finished equipment ready for its intended use. That hands-on product knowledge also helps us support machines already in service.
Inspect the work
Inspection connects the drawing, the component, and the finished work. Our team checks dimensions and features using equipment appropriate to the job, including our ZEISS O-Inspect. Inspection and documentation requirements for customer projects are reviewed as part of the project scope.
Prepare equipment for delivery
Before equipment leaves Grainman, we work through the checks and order details appropriate to the product. We help customers confirm the equipment configuration and arrange the next steps for shipment, including quote-based handling for equipment that requires freight review.
Support the owner
Our relationship with a customer continues after delivery. Grainman supplies replacement parts and accessories and helps owners identify components for equipment already in service. Send us the model, serial number if available, and a part number or photograph so we can help you find the right next step.
